Description:

This Hammock tent option is crazy good.

It has literally everything you will need in one purchase.

And the total price of everything together, is cheaper than any other single units you could buy on the market.

It comes with all assembly parts to hang instantly, it has a super fine net to stop insects, and comes with a rain-fly tarp as well.

The material that the hammock is made from is very durable and is called 210T Taffeta parachute fabric.

This means that it is made out of a fabric that is very light, but very sturdy at the same time.

Perfect for camping.

The manufacturer made sure it is durable by making triple stitch edge seams.

And therefore it can hold up to 700 pounds of weight!

Which is double the amount of all the other competitor hammocks.

(Keep in mind): Even if it says that the limit is 700 pounds, if you want your hammock to survive for years, then try stay in the lower range of this weight limit.

Also to be safe, Don't lay down with sharp objects such as keys, knifes or other material, otherwise it will all rip quickly.

As for the insect net, the net is made to be so thin, that it has around 2500 square holes per square inch.

No insect is ever going to dream about entering this hammock.

If you are in an area with no insects and just want to enjoy the sun and breeze, then you can also remove the net from the tent as well.

Then you have the rain-fly tarp. This tarp is what makes your Hammock tent a tent.

Based on how you place the tarp, you can make it so that it protects you from the rain, snow, wind and even sun if that is what you would like.

If you have placed the tarp correctly, then even if it rains a ton, you will still be fine.

It comes with straps, Caribbeans, everything.

And finally, the warranty.

The warranty the company provides you with is also outstanding.

Basically they give you a 1 year warranty where you can replace your hammock if it gets ruined.

Who is this for?

Honestly, this hammock is the best on the market.

You might as well just go and buy it now.

It is perfect for warm, cold, humid, and stormy weathers.

2. FIRINER Camping Hammock with tent

Cheapest Hammock tent

The FIRINER Camping Hammock with tent is a nice all in one tent that is on the low end of the price spectrum.

  • Size: 365 x 140 cm / 144 x 55 Inches
  • Material: Made of 210T hardened tafetta nylon fabric
  • Weight: Weighs 3 pounds
  • Weight limit: Can carry up to 440 pounds

Click here to go back to the table

Pros

  • Cheap
  • Has a mosquito net
  • Can flip Hammock when no net wanted
  • Water proof tarp
  • Large tarp size
  • Easy to install
  • Comes with all needed tools to assemble (straps, carabiners)
  • Very light

Cons

  • Not as sturdy as the other options in the list
  • No warranty

Description:

This item is a good choice if you are on a budget.

However, when it comes at a lower price, it means that it is also not as sturdy and durable.

Nonetheless, if you are taking care of it you will reap its benefits.

The size of the hammock is 144 Inches long by 55 inches wide.

Meaning that you should be able to it in it comfortably without feeling like it is too tight.

In terms of space, it can fit 2 persons easily.

And the tarp size is a nice 122 x 122 Inch tarp.

Which when hung diagonally will easily cover (it will be 203 Inches long diagonally).

Therefore, you won't have to worry at all about rain or snow getting into your hammock.

The hammock also comes with a built-in net that also provides you with strong insect protection.

Sadly the net is not detachable (if you don't feel like the net is necessary).

But as an alternative, you can flip the whole Hammock and still sit down and enjoy the view with comfort.

It comes with all the necessary tools to get it established, and the assembly process is not too hard in comparison to the other hammock assemblies.

Keep in mind:

Although the manufacturer says it holds up to 440 pounds.

I suggest you stay closer to the limits of 200 pounds.

After all, heavier users who tried this tent occasional had some not so nice outcomes.

If you weight less than 200 pounds then you should have no problems.

Again, the manufacturer says that it can hold 2 persons together.

I'm just saying, It's up to you.

Also to be safe, Don't lay down with sharp objects such as keys, knifes or other material, otherwise it will rip quickly.

Sadly, there is no warranty on this option.

Go figure, it's the cheapest version after all! ????

Who is this for?

This tent is for anyone who still needs rain protection, as well as insect protection, but has a budget for his/her hammock.

3. Everest Double Camping Hammock tent

Click here to go back to the table

Pros

  • Strong durable material
  • Can carry up to 400 pounds
  • Allows for up to 2 persons
  • Insect net provided
  • Can flip hammock to remove net if not needed
  • Comes with all tools and straps necessary
  • Easy installment
  • 30 day money back guarantee

Cons

  • No color options
  • No tarp for rain protection

Description:

For a Double person Hammock tent, this is going to be one of the best options out there, especially considering that it comes with an insect net.

This Hammock tent, has everything required to be called a tent, except for a tarp.

Now this might be a deal breaker for you, especially if you are planning on going to areas where it is likely to rain or snow.

If that is not the case.

Then you are in luck.

With a 400 pound limit, and triple seamed edges this Hammock is built to last.

It is durable and can hold up to 2 persons, although if you are trying to keep it long lasting, then I would recommend you to keep a limit on the amount of time you spend with 2 persons on/in it.

The net is very well made and can prevent any insects from entering it thanks to its 2500 holes per square inch.

This number is very crazy to me, that is super small.

Yet, they manage to keep it sturdy.

If you are in an area where the net is not needed, you can just flip your hammock and sit on the other side of it.

It will be just as sturdy and comfortable, and without the net.

As for the warranty of this hammock tent.

The manufacturer (everest active gear) is confident in their products. Therefore, they give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

After trying out the hammock tent for a couple of weeks, if it is not of the quality they described it as, and does not satisfy you.

You can give it back and get your money back just like that.

Keep in mind:

To be safe, try not to lay down with sharp objects such as keys, knifes or other objects, otherwise it will all rip quickly.

Who is this for?

This double hammock tent is for anyone who is looking to have someone accompany him/her on their journeys.

It is perfect for any trips you want to take that are in warm, humid areas if you are not expecting rain.

If you get a separate rain-fly tarp, then this product will also work out for colder areas where it rains or snows often.

The installation of the tent/net itself can be a little tricky, since it is all the same color it might be a little hard to find the edges and the holes.

What to know when buying a Hammock tent

When buying any Hammock tent, there are a few main reasons that should be looked at:

1. Rain protection

The need of a criteria for rain protection depends entirely on what the user is intending on using the Camping hammock tent for. When the goal is to adventure to new fun areas, if you are expecting to be hiking in the rain in the future, then it is wise to think ahead and get a hammock with a tent that is water proof already.

There are different levels of water proof fabrics, however any of the Tarps that you search for are made of sturdy enough material to be rain proof and not fall down if it gets too rainy.

2.Wind protection

Wind can be another factor to look at when going for camping in higher altitudes. Wind can sometime get really strong, and multiply the affect of the cold as well as any of natures components. If you are going to areas with very strong wind flow, then it is suggested that you go for a whole tent as opposed to tarps.

Tarps are not heavy enough to withstand the wind, and the shape that they are designed to be in could end up being a disadvantage to their stability.

Option 5 in the list is a good tent option that can compliment a hammock as long as you are able to find some trees to hang them on.

The benefit of the Hammock in the tent, is that you will be a little farther from the earth's cold surface, making it easier for your body to remain warm even in colder environments.

3. Sturdiness and durability

One of the most important factors to look at when buying hammocks and hammock tents is their sturdiness and long term durability. It is not nice to be in a hard hike or camping far away, only to have your tent or hammock fall apart.

Hammocks falling apart can be quite painful, and then you have no where to sleep for the night.

Which is why, you should check what material the hammock and tent is made of.

If it is made of polyester, 210T tafetta parachute fabric, or other tafetta nylon fabrics, than it is a good sign that you are finding better quality fabrics that will last longer.

But that alone isn't enough.

You should make sure to always be safe and never exceed manufacturer weight limits.

If you make sure to stay on the lower weight limits, you will extend the life of your product even further.

Also, you should never go in your hammock with sharp objects such as keys, knifes, or other sharp objects.

They will create micro tears which could slowly damage your hammock or quickly and unexpectedly also.

4.Comfort

Getting everything packed for camping with our Hammock tent
  • Save

Comfort is also a key factor. What is the use of having all of the other qualities if you can not lie down in your Hammock tent and feel cozy. A for comfort, all you have to focus on is to make sure you have an extra layer of padding if it get too cold, and to choose a hammock that isn't too small for you.

With a combination of these 2 points you should be able to always relax in your hammock without any problems.

That's it from my side folks.

Thank you for reading this post to the end, and I hope I was able to be of some use to you in making a better decision regarding your Hammock tents, and I wish you a lot of fun and safe journeys.

Have a nice day!
