When buying any Hammock tent, there are a few main reasons that should be looked at:

1. Rain protection

The need of a criteria for rain protection depends entirely on what the user is intending on using the Camping hammock tent for. When the goal is to adventure to new fun areas, if you are expecting to be hiking in the rain in the future, then it is wise to think ahead and get a hammock with a tent that is water proof already.

There are different levels of water proof fabrics, however any of the Tarps that you search for are made of sturdy enough material to be rain proof and not fall down if it gets too rainy.

2.Wind protection

Wind can be another factor to look at when going for camping in higher altitudes. Wind can sometime get really strong, and multiply the affect of the cold as well as any of natures components.
